Krajowa Izba Architektów RP wraz ze Śląską Okręgową Izbą Architektów organizują Konferencję - NEB dla miast postindustrialnych, która odbędzie się 22 kwietnia 2022 roku w Katowicach.
Nowy europejski Bauhaus i związane z nim idee muszą sprostać oczekiwaniom XXI wieku. Zmiany związane z Zielonym Ładem spowodują duże zmiany w miastach poprzemysłowych. Chcemy zdiagnozować, jakie narzędzia już dziś oferuje KOW, jakie są zagrożenia i oczekiwania wobec nowych wyzwań wielu europejskich miast. Konferencja odbędzie się w stolicy Śląska, regionu, którego kultura od wieków związana jest z górnictwem węglowym. Regionu, który w XXI wieku będzie podlegał wielkim zmianom na wielu płaszczyznach.
Konferencja będzie przygotowaniem do dyskusji UIA na temat mieszkalnictwa w Madrycie w maju 2022 roku oraz do kongresu urbanistycznego w Katowicach w czerwcu 2022 roku.
Konferencja zostanie zorganizowana pod patronatem Rady Architektów Europy i będzie dostępna online.

The National Chamber of Architects of the Poland together with the Silesian Regional Chamber of Architects organise the Conference - NEB for post-industrial cities, which will take place on 22 April 2022 in Katowice.
The New European Bauhaus and related ideas must meet the expectations of the 21st century. Changes related to the Green Deal will result in major changes in post-industrial cities. We want to diagnose what tools the NEB already offers today, what are the threats and expectations towards the new challenges of many European cities. The conference will take place in the capital of Silesia, a region whose culture has been connected to coal mining for centuries. A region that will undergo great changes on many levels in the 21st century.
The conference will be a preparation for the UIA discussion on housing in Madrid in May 2022 and for the urban planning congress in Katowice in June 2022.
The conference will be organised under the patronage of the Council of Architects of Europe and will be available online.
